Becoming Embodied

March 7 – 13, 2027 · Vancouver Island, BC

A retreat designed for you to remember your erotic embodiment.

Casia Sobolewski and Corinne Diachuk welcome you to the inaugural Becoming Embodied: six nights on the land, held by two practitioners with over three decades of experience between them.

This retreat is not about coming to look sexy. It is about coming into deep embodiment.

This retreat may be for you if you

  • want to learn to source yourself as a site of immense power
  • are craving deeper connection with and knowing of yourself
  • want to bring your whole self to lovers and partners

Your facilitators

Corinne Diachuk, co-facilitator of Becoming Embodied

Corinne Diachuk

Corinne is a founder of the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education, a lifelong erotic adventurer and a yoga therapist. She is passionate about creating safe-enough spaces for people to have honest conversations with their bodies about power, consent and pleasure as healing.

Casia Sobolewski, co-facilitator of Becoming Embodied

Casia Sobolewski

A sex educator since 2009, Casia is a mother, partner, sister, auntie and friend. She believes connection is a primary function of eroticism, balanced by a beautiful aloneness that brings a self-knowing available nowhere else.

Casia and Corinne have been close friends for nearly a decade, moving through repair and conflict. This retreat grows from that trust.

Our ethos

We believe access to your own erotic experience, without needing to rely on another person, is a vital part of being an empowered individual.

We are committed to sending you home with the tools and frameworks to bring this retreat back into your life in whatever way is possible for you, and to know that it is yours.

We are both mothers, committed community members and sex educators of 15+ years. We are dedicated practitioners of the Wheel of Consent, and in continual, ongoing ethical inquiry.
